In my work as a visual artist I meet many people.
Sometimes very short intense and fleeting encounters. Sometimes long ones where I waste my time. Most fellow artists always have a story, new insights and a good meeting often inspires, which is wonderful. Come to interfaces. I was lucky enough to meet a number of well-known artists such as Marlene Dumas, Michael Borremans, Luc Tuymans, Anton Corbijn. (see below) Unfortunately, these are people who are too busy and are all over the world.
A wonderful meeting was with Robert Terwindt. We had dinner and a few weeks later I visited the studio. Inspirational and a wise & humorous man. We were talking about an art project. Unfortunately, he passed away shortly afterwards.
